Karen Garcia

Karen is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in the state of Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master of Art Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida. She is currently working towards full licensure with Neumind Wellness Group. Karen is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and understands Portuguese.

Karen has experience in working with clients of all ages and populations facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, low self-esteem, substance abuse, and more. Karen has worked in different settings and modalities, including schools, hospitals, underserved communities, and behavioral health treatment sites. 

Karen loves to use a holistic approach, believing that every part plays a role in long-term mental wellness. Her goal is to create an environment where clients feel accepted as their true selves, safely explore their past, present, and future, and build the confidence to achieve their dreams.
