Rowena is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern who is working towards full licensure at NeuMind Wellness Group. She holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Chamberlain University and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from San Jose State University.

She has experience providing therapy services to a variety of individuals including children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults who experience issues with anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, behavioral disruptions, low self-esteem, suicidal ideation, and trauma. Rowena has experience in Adverse Childhood Experiences. She works alongside her clients and encourages hope, healing, and resilience. Rowena is bilingual in English and Tagalog.

Rowena believes that individuals have their own unique stories. She enjoys helping others while utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and Biblical Counseling to best meet the needs and goals of her clients. Rowena meets clients where they are in their needs and partners with them on their journey as they identify their individual goals and discover connections to their loved ones along the way.
