Shanira Sanchez

Shanira Sanchez is a LMHC Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida. Shanira is currently a Clinical/Administrative Specialist here at NeuMind. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Rollins College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.

Shanira has provided services to a diverse population throughout her career. She has worked in community mental health, provided counseling services in Orange County public schools and to college students. Her experience includes working with individuals with adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, improving interpersonal relationships and low self-esteem.

She is passionate about assisting individuals and families communicate effectively, cope with life stressors and get to the root of their distress to live fuller lives. Shanira provides counseling services to adults, adolescents and children utilizing a cognitive-behavioral and person-centered approach. She is passionate about collaborating with individuals to overcome their challenges reminding them to be kind to themselves throughout the process.
