Stacy Burgess

Stacy is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with a master's degree in clinical social work from the University of Central Florida. Stacy is working towards full licensure at NeuMind Wellness Group.  

Stacy is dedicated to building strong and collaborative relationships with her clients. She uses a person-centered approach, tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each client, understanding that everyone’s journey is different. With an integrative approach that includes evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Play Therapy techniques, Stacy supports individuals in finding their own path towards healing and growth.

Stacy has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, grief, and trauma. Whether it’s through playful activities with younger clients or deeper therapeutic conversations with adults, Stacy is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings, uncover their strengths, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s ups and downs.
